Food Hygiene and Covid-19

It not a joke that covid-19 is spreading fast. While other health professionals are sensitizing people to keep safe by practicing good hygiene and social distance. It is also important you practice food safety as well. Before preparing any food ensure you wash your hands properly using soap and clean water. Proper hand washing can reduce the risk of food poisoning and significantly decrease spread of diseases. Ensure you rinse and wash your foods well especially fruits. Note that no one food or supplement can prevent illness, but combination of healthy foods may help support and strengthen immune system. You are thus encouraged to consume foods that can help boost your immunity. Such foods included: Citrus fruits,papaya,garlic,Onions,red bell pepper,yoghurt,Almonds,Tumeric,Poultry, shell fishes etc. Make time out to prepare your foods in your home yourself rather than buying foods for now. And always remember to stay safe at all time.

    1. Yea,thanks for the comment. You can practice some in door exercise like sit ups, push ups,skipping, jogging on a spot. Some aerobics will do too. Avoid eating heavily into the night, take fruits and veggies, stay well hydrated and you’ll keep fit. Hope this was helpful.
